An 8-blade thickness gauge for quickly measuring wear and assessing remaining life of brake pad linings. Offset blade is inserted between brake disc and brake pad backing plate. Each of the eight blades is conveniently marked in both metric and imperial units and are colour coded to quickly signify levels of wear: red for replace now, yellow for replace soon and green for okay.
